There are three different varieties of elves, though most of them are found in the forest region of Athieriaen.

The High Elves

High elves are considered royalty among elven kind, generally being tall and graceful and dressed in silk and statin. They are warriors, like most elves, but they are more political, preferring to negotiate instead of going to war. Most high elves are fair haired with grey or blue eyes though most hair and eye colors can be found in this race.

The Wood Elves

Wood elves are just as graceful and beautiful as their high elven brethren but their har and eyes are generally darker and they are more apt to be travelling outside the protective borders of Athieriaen. Wood elves can mostly be found as rangers or rogues (theives) and they are extremely stealthy, especially in dense woodlands.

The Half Elves

Half elves are the variety of elf most commonly found among humans, for they are part human. Their abilities can range from that of a warrior to a rogue, though unlike the other elves their ability in magic is more limited. They are still very fair in body build and features though their hair and eye color can range. Their pointed ears are also slightly smaller than the other varieties.
